I don't know sign language but l would like to learn, here in the UK there is a childrens channel and one of the shows has a lot of sign language in. lf l ever moved to a different country being qualified in sign language could come in very handy.

I'm going to co sign with someone above by saying french is a sexy accent, l once met a french guy while l was working in a warehouse and he made me laugh with the way he said certain things.

Here in the UK high school is when children start learning languages but some infant and junior schools have been introducing languages a lot earlier. As a parent l see young children learn languages very easy compared to the teenagers so l would say teach your child from as early as possible.

The english are the same but as someone said above business is international so it's important now to learn different languages and foreign business owners like it when you make a effort to speak their language.

I think when a person can speak more than one tongue that person sees more of the world than anyone else, different foods, cultures and everything else that comes with a foreign country. Opening my mind to other things like a different language is a big joy for me.

I am currently learning alone and l prefer it that way right now, maybe later on l might find a group as l think l will need to socialise with people who are learning spanish eventually.

It drives me crazy when people cut there spellings or adds something that should not be there, l think it's lazyness on their part and that's why l keep correcting all my friends that write like that.

It all sounds simple, learn ten words a day but like someone above said the words need to be revelant for ME to remember for example were is the doctors or what time does the bus come?.

I've not tried writing spanish yet but as things stand now l find speaking a lot easier than writing, hopefully things will change but l'm not rushing it just yet.

I would have to put myself in the self learning bracket, at school we had a choice between french or german and l chose french, I never really got into it at school it was only when my children started learning spanish at school that l became intrested in spanish. My children are not fluent in spanish yet but they are getting there
