Not really.

In fact, living away from my roots makes me nostalgic. Therefore,  I develop more fondness for everything that is native.  For instance, native food, native attire and of course native language.

I always believe, absence makes heart grow fonder.

I love this short quote by Alan Wilson Watts :

"The menu is not the meal". 

They say, English is a funny language.....do you think so ?  If yes, what makes English funny ?

I don't do this. I feel people are becoming increasingly lazy and just type out LOL instead of actually laughing.

I think we need to cultivate the habit of laughing out loudly than typing it out.

The best medicine is laughing and not typing that you are laughing....

I am an eternal learner.

I keep my eyes open and learn every minute.  I think, learning is a never-ending process.  If you have an open mind, you can learn from every experience you encounter and every person you meet.

I think, if you have the right mindset, you will be a student all your life - you can learn from womb to tomb.

MOTHER

I think MOTHER is the most beautiful word in English language.

In fact, in a survey conducted by British Council among 40,000 overseas voters as to the most beautiful word in English, MOTHER topped the list hands down...!

As a matter of fact,  out of  the top words,  MOTHER was the only word that defined a direct relationship among people.

Well, I came across this word the other day. I find it funny and bizarre as well.  Hold your breath, the word is  :

MOLLYCODDLE

And strangely enough, it means  "to treat someone very leniently". 

What a word and what a meaning......guess, can't get any funnier than this, does it ?

I think, grammar is more than just a set of seemingly arbitrary rules that are made to make life more difficult.
