I'm capable of reading pretty quickly, while actually comprehending the words. However, I'm a horrible reader in that I usually zone out after the first few sentences. I'm not sure what it is, but I can't read books. I'll get halfway through a paragraph and suddenly realize I've got no idea what I've been reading, just that I've been identifying every word, but haven't been connecting them. I have no idea why. Maybe it's from lack of interest in the material I'm reading. I can occasionally read pages and pages of stuff and actually stay focused. So maybe it's an interest thing.

Oh, I absolutely do not. My grammar gets horrendous when I'm talking to friends over IM or something. Usually, it's just all capital, likely misspelled, and riddled with fake words and insults. It's probably a horrible habit, and my capability of using correct grammar when it's needed has likely suffered. I suppose it could be worse though.

Do you Start sentences with Conjuctions like But?

I really try not to, but it definitely happens. I'm not super strict with grammar, so small things like that don't really bother me much. When just talking to friends over IM or a game, grammar usually goes out the window, so it doesn't really matter. In school or anything serious, though, I really try not to. -
Your least favorite English accent

Having grown up in the South, really, really Southern accents are unbearable to me. You know when you hear someone that is clearly from the South, but they sound like they're laying it on thicker than it usually is? Like in most country music. It's quite unpleasant to my ears. However, a slight Southern drawl can be pretty charming sometimes, when used right. I try to mask mine, for whatever reason, but it comes out occasionally. -
Hello everyone. I can only speak English, sadly, but I've been interested in Swedish for a pretty long while, and Finnish has started become an interest. My grandmother and great-grandmother were both from Finland and spoke it, but I never learned it. Other than that, I have a very limited capability of reading French and Spanish, but that's about it. Hopefully I can learn a bit about various languages. It seems like I've come to a good place to.
