  1. It really just comes with practice. Repetition is key. Studying the words, repeating and listening to the words that you are saying, testing yourself-all are great for getting your ears in tune with what you are saying and getting your mind to actually distinguish the words that you are saying. Just apply yourself and practice. There are some great Spanish language apps that you can record words and play them back to hear the proper pronounciation. Get used to hearing yourself distinguish between the words, then you should take off from there. Good luck!
  2. I think that my main weakness in regards to learning Spanish would have to be in, well...learning it. Lol! Meaning that I really need to buckle down and apply myself. I want to be fluent so bad, but I'm not diving into my study of the language like I should every day. I am waiting to turn that corner of getting past knowing some vocabulary, how to conjugate verbs, etc...and start really using the language. I want to turn to Telemundo and not just catch a couple of words or phrases here and there. I do realize that it is all up to me. Time to turn my weakness into my strength!
  3. I wish to finish what I started long ago, I suppose. I've taken Spanish before in school, but I never got to the point of feeling like I was fluent, or that I could carry on a conversation. I want to speak the language with ease. I want to know it as if it were my native language. Sure...I'd love to go to Spain or Belize or spend some time in Argentina, but I really want to do it for my own enjoyment. Again, to finish what I started what seems so long ago.
  4. Hello!! So glad to make your acquaintance. I am a native English speaker and I am working on the early stages of becoming fluent in Spanish and French. Hoping to meet others that are working on these languages as well. Sharing some useful tips and inspiration would be nice. Wishing everyone well with their endeavors.
