I mispronounced the Italian word anni (years) and said ani (anuses), back when I was still in the beginning stages of learning Italian. I was corrected right away and we laughed it off. I never made that mistake again.

You can learn a large amount of languages to a high level, but the question is will you be able to maintain all of them.

Notes:
Started using this great program called FLTR (Foreign Language Text Reader). You can copy and paste any text you want into it and you can highlight the words you know or don't know (Level 1-5, Unknown, Well know (Different color for each)). The words change color and are saved for review later. An online dictionary loads up when you click on a word, and you can even add your own translation. When you paste a new text, all the words that you encountered in the earlier texts will be highlighted in the new one. You can use it for multiple languages and the words that are the same in the other language won't be show, basically you start from scratch in every language Here is what it looks like:

Watched "La vita è bella" tonight. Great movie, it sent a strong message. Finally bought a laptop and now I'm downloading more movies and TV shows. Next on my to watch list: "Gomorrah", "Il Tredicesimo Apostolo", "Il Giovane Montalbano", "Cinema Paradiso", "Il commissario Montalbano EP2".
I also started working on an Italian - Serbian cognate list today and this is what I got so far:

Best solution in my book: Speak to him/her in all 3 languages, but speak to him/her mostly in your native language, while your husband can speak to him/her in his. He is gonna learn Malay anyway since it's gonna be the language with which his peers communicate. Take advantage of teaching him at a young age since he is gonna basically learn it unconsciously. When he/she grows up, it's not gonna be that easy.

Sorry, I never used an Android phone, but these 2 apps come to mind: Duolingo, Memrise.Thank yo for your suggestions. But do you have anything to recommend for Android phones?
You can also find a good podcast app, change the language, and search for podcasts in your target language. Also, try to find a dictionary that can save(favourite) words.

At the moment I'm only using the euronews, Advanced English Dictionary and the Global TV apps. I stopped using flashcards and now I'm focusing on getting new vocabulary from extensive reading and listening.

Description:
Serbian (Serbian Cyrillic: српски, Latin: srpski, pronounced [sr̩̂pskiː]) is the standardized variety of the Serbo-Croatian language used chiefly by Serbs in Serbia, Montenegro,and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, it is a recognized minority language in Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Albania and Greece.
Standard Serbian is based on the most widespread dialect of Serbo-Croatian, Shtokavian (more specifically on Šumadija-Vojvodina and Eastern Herzegovinian dialects), which is also the basis of Standard Croatian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin. The other dialect spoken by Serbs is Torlakian in southeastern Serbia, which is transitional to Macedonian and Bulgarian.
Grammar:
Although most Serbo-Croatian words decline with number, sex and case, so that the syntax should be relatively free in principle (as it is in Russian), the language makes use of many so-called enclitics, which are essentially short words whose positions in a sentence are very important. Amongst other words, many pronouns have both long and short forms (eg. njih & ih = them) and there is a complicated set of rules that determine the order in which these type of words should appear in a sentence.
Spelling and the Alphabets:
Words are pronounced exactly as they are written, though one must learn to use the correct stresses (but this is easier to predict than in Russian).
Serbian is practically the only European standard language with complete synchronic digraphia, using both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets; speakers read the two scripts equally well. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet was devised in 1814 by Serbian linguist Vuk Karadžić, who created the alphabet on phonemic principles. The Latin alphabet was designed by Croatian linguist Ljudevit Gaj in 1830.

What is notable about 'Porodicno Blago' is the good dose of realism it possesses without being dark. It is happening during the difficult times in Serbia (that unfortunately exist to this day) where Serbs face the issues of high unemployment, the rural-urban divide and the young generation dreaming of leaving the country in a delusion that they might find a better life abroad. We have the Gavrilovic family where the heads are trying make ends meet while the children are faced with issues of their own: one is trying to find a job, the other is a tomboy who finds love and the third child struggles to finish school. These are very common problems that are portrayed in a manner where we sympathise with the characters and root for them. Even the people from the countryside are hilarious, a refreshing change from Serbian movies and series that were at the time this was aired were heavily focused on Belgrade.

Talked to a friend from Slovakia on Skype yesterday. He speaks around 11 languages fluently and we talked in Serbian, English and Italian. I made a couple of mistakes while speaking Italian and I couldn't remember some words, but nonetheless I was able get my point across.
