  1. I personally wouldn't really spend any money behind it, because I know that I don't need to. There are many language learning websites and also apps for your phone that help you, and are completely free. I also have a lot of friends who speak the languages that I want to learn, which is cool because I talk to them a lot. And it's all free.
  2. I personally search up words from websites that I find on Google that I need to or should learn. There are a lot of websites that are helpful in this way. Then I usually talk to friends who know that language to try and become more fluent in it.
  3. Personally, I believe that the best motive for learning a language is to live in a country where everyone speaks that language, make making some friends who were born there. Then, you'll probably be motivated to learn the language as well.
  4. No problem I'd love to do that! With the amazing looking layout of this forum (I absolutely adore it( I think that no one wouldn't want to come here and learn languages with everyone else! Thanks!
  5. Hi, I'm Jack! I'm an American, but I live in Europe. Currently I live in Germany, but have lived in the Netherlands too. My dream is to learn German fluently, but also to learn Dutch as well! That'd be really awesome. I hope that this forum helps too!
  6. I thought that you needed a subscription to sign up for Rosetta Stone, right? I always see advertisements and stuff for it in airports and whatnot, and it seems to be more of a premium thing really.
  7. Wow, thanks for the share. This looks like an amazing app. I can't wait to try it out. I don't have my phone with me, or else I would. It looks too good to be true. I can't believe that it actually translates whatever's on the sign and pastes the English version onto the sign itself :amazed:
  8. I can definitely vouch for Duolingo. Duolingo is an amazing way to learn languages, and IMO mainly because of the amazing UI that comes along with it. It helps is a competition system so that you can compete with your friends. It really makes learning languages much more fun
