  1. I moved to a new country so I've been studying from books to learn the new language. I have found that I learn best when I'm just out making conversation with the locals. I have improved my grammar and ability to make correct sentences. My questions is how do you handle vocabulary building when learning in an immersion environment? When I'm just having a conversation with someone and I can't understand a word or two, I try to remember them for later to translate. Do you have a better way?
  2. I am learning a new language because I'm living in a new country. I am amazed at how many people outside of the US speak multiple languages. I really wish I had started learning a new language as a child. I didn't start until high school and I find it more difficult to learn new languages now as an adult. I am working really hard though because I rely too much on my English while living in a foreign country.
  3. Hi! I'm studying Turkish also! I am a beginner but working hard to learn quickly. I can understand a lot but speaking is really difficult for me. I have a problem with the endings. What has been your biggest struggle so far?
