  1. I feel annoyed with myself at how little I cared about learning Spanish in high school. I could have so many more opportunities in the world now if I had just been more dedicated then. At least I can ask where a bathroom or library is. Or name some random foods.
  2. It seems like it would be the easiest option, but think about it. There are some words in some languages that just do not translate into other languages in spoken language. I assume it would be the same for an international sign language. ex: kummerspek-German excess weight gained from emotional overeating; literally grief bacon. We have no word at all for this.
