  1. English (apart from French) is my foreign language. I study english teaching so I use it every day during the classes. But it is also my passion therofore I always try to do something connected with English language at home, no matter what - reading, watching, listening, speaking, writing. Learning English is a huge pleasure for me; I like to do it even if I'm exhausted after a hard day
  2. Yes, learning a language which uses different script is challenging. Before you start learning you have to get to know the script and sounds represented by the signs and letters. For me grammar is the most difficult part. Learning how to use various constructions and tenses is indispensable in order to use a language freely having no misgivings about correctness. When some sentence is grammatically correct in one language it doesn't mean that it's correct in other. Initially it was a challenge for me to distinguish the tenses in English and learn when and how to use them. I dealt with it but I keep on practising.
  3. I study English and during the reading classes I often work with various articles form newspapers. I agree that this is one of the best ways to expand your vocabulary. Some texts I've read were unfathomable at first glance, so I had a lot of work to do in order to understand them. But with every new article I have less doubts about the meaning of the specific words used in different contexts.
  4. Hi! I'm a student form Poland. I love languages and I'm here to share my passion, improve my language skills, broaden my knowledge and of course meet new linguaholics! English is my first foreign language, I also speak French but not as good as I want. I also learn other languages (Spanish, Italian, Japanese...) because I take pleasure in learning every new foreign word Greetings from Poland! See you around!
