      Are there any techniques to help me memorize words?

      You have to use every means necessary. Use your tablet to indicate the meaning of the word. Use your phone and place it a memo, diary or other way you can remember it. Use paper and write the word and meaning and continue to memorize it. Or you can post it in front of your mirror, or anywhere in the house which would let you remember the words.

        To memorize words it's necessary to practice them in sentences, put them in a context where they make sense, you create that association and you will never forget them, if you keep on practicing. ;)

        I'd go for a hybrid between repetition and writing. Learn the word and use it in many sentence. The act of writing it [the new word] continuously fixes it in your mind. But that doesn't mean you can't forget it. To really master the words you have to practice using them from time to time.
