Manuel Fuchs
a friend of mine told me about duolingo.com. This must be the prettiest language learning plattform I have ever seen. Just love the design and the the way to you can study on this page, share your results with friends on facebook and many more features. You can study German, French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portugiese and French there. If you wanna have some fun while studying, give this a try! Topcho
I just realised I have this downloaded on my tablet as an app! I got it some time ago, right after purchaising it, while simply browsing Google Play in search for different useful or cute applications to fill it. And I love owls, so... the moment I saw Duolingo's cutest green owl - and spoted that it's free - I was downloading it!I still haven't tried working with it tho. I need to pick a language, I will probably choose French. Anyway it sounds like fun!!
Czarownica
I agree, duolingo is really cute. I signed up for their German course, but I haven't used this site for a while now, other languages came first... I should really get back there. Or they should make a Japanese, Korean or Thai course
deyvion
Thank you for the tip! Now maybe I can start learning Spanish again. I love those resources online that are free and simple but still so helpful. =)
altrouge
Oh wow, I got curious, so I searched for this. It looks amazing! And the activities are decent as well. Looks like I'm signing up! I could maintain my Spanish here and start on German as well.
jessfun
I believe there are studies that back up the efficacy of Duolingo. It seems to be better than a first year university course on the same language as far as results go. But it's a clever way to teach you the language by making you do the translations and having someone else verify it.You get much more practice doing this compared to weekly or monthly assignments that the university may assign. limon
Hmmm, I'm loath to sign up for yet another service, but you're right about the gorgeous design. The reviews are pretty good as well. I wonder if they have an app....Sigh, I guess I'm signing up for a new service.
