CorieHens Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 We are going to Vietnam in September for a tour. I would like to know even a little Vietnamese particularly conversational like how a tourist would say the following:- Hello, good morning (afternoon, evening), thank you, welcome, how much, etcMaybe you can post in this thread so the others can also learn from your post. By the way, I am a Filipino and this is my first encounter with Vietnam and its language. Quote
CorieHens Posted September 29, 2015 Author Report Posted September 29, 2015 I have just got back from my trip to Vietnam and the only phrase I had learned is CAM ON which means thank you. However, most people there know the phrase thank you so it seems that it is a useless phrase to learn. By the way, Vietnam is a good place, clean nice people although sometimes I don't feel safe.
