dboone25 Posted March 6, 2019 Report Posted March 6, 2019 Hello everyone. I hope to get my head a little clearer on trying to understand the meaning and or correct use of an example I used in conversation. It was “ schlaf gut” and I responded to my friend und dich. I understand that und dich is incorrect as he tired to explain that this can not be the Akkusativ ( object ) in this case. May someone explain can I use either du or dir? I am so confused with something so simple and appreciate some help please. Dankeschön. Quote

"du auch" or "(danke), gleichfalls" in this case. Quote
