  1. I started learning English during my pre-school in the Philippines as part of the curriculum. But, as I grew up, it became fun to learn. I also ended up writing in our school newspaper and winning some awards in public speaking. In the future, I wanted to write a technical book. I just hope I get all the strength to do it, and a good publisher to print it out.
  2. "Never, never, never, never give up" -Winston Churchill. Eight powerful words for me. 'Til now I use this quote in my everyday interactions with people. This quote also gives me passion to what I do.
  3. Here in the Philippines, English is part of the curriculum since pre-school. But currently, the Department of Education included a "mother tongue" curriculum in public schools which I think confuses students in spelling words. A few years back when I was in college, they tried to include the "mother tongue" when they teach chemistry and physics, but apparently it just confuses students and it is difficult to translate some words in our native tongue.
  4. I think English online tutorials are good aid in learning the language. But more importantly is learning the core of the language. Also practicing frequently will greatly help in learning it.
