  1. Learning a new language is an obvious investment to those who understand its value. I could perhaps get a career as a transcriber or translator for the UN or maybe even re-write books to different languages and earn a commission in books sales. Learning a different language is an investment, but the main issue is the language you learn and it's value. You cannot compare learning japanese and learning zulu.
  2. I dream in only one language and funny enough, it's not my mother tongue. My mother tongue is kikuyu but all the books I've read and movies that I have watched are in English so naturally, my creative side thinks it was born in London. I actually like the dialogue in my dreams so much that I think it's because of these dreams that I started writing for magazines .
  3. Correct grammar is very important to me. It has gotten to a point where I text full words and if I did not have a qwerty keypad I would go crazy within twenty four hours. What I love about English is how it makes expressing myself very easy.
  4. I already know I have an accent . I'm from Nairobi, Kenya. My mother tongue is Kikuyu and our country's national language is Swahili; so by the time I start talking in English, my accent is quite clear. However, I like my accent and how some vowels sound when I say them and the girls seem to like my accent as well.
  5. I would really like to learn spanish. The reason is mostly because that language has some poetic elements that I would like to exploit. I've never been a fan of soap operas, however the language has always had an appeal to me.
