  1. I actually didn't start learning a second language until I graduated college and realized I want to continue studying something. I decided to study sign language and became fluent in ASL. Now I am learning Spanish.
  2. I would also love to learn Greek. I have not met that many people that actually know how to speak that language, so I think that would be cool because it would set me apart from everyone else. Plus I think it is an absolutely beautiful language.
  3. I have yet to try that but that sounds like a really good idea and something I will try soon. I am in the process of learning Spanish, so once I become more fluent I will pick up a copy of the Spanish Bible and try to give it a read, sound tough!
  4. It's different for each person. That's why I am not a huge fan of the school system, everyone learns in a different style and the school system is kind of for one style. I always comprehended things better when I read out loud.
  5. I have not used it and I don't know of anyone who has, but it really does look interesting and I don't see any reason as to why it won't work. I think it is worth a shot!
  6. I think with the advance in technology we for sure have the possibility to become smarter if we take advantage of it. Many people don't take advantage of it though. We can learn pretty much anything we want to learn with the use of the internet!
  7. Hebrew would be AWESOME to learn. I am not sure if you guys would count this as a language but I am in the middle of studying Sign Language. I actually had a conversation with a deaf person the other day, it was pretty cool!
  8. Sure, I use it all the time when talking to my friends! Honestly, when I am talking to friends I never try to be "proper" with the way I talk. I have never seen the point to worry about my spelling and grammar when talking to them.
  9. Personally I am an advocate of any type of online tutorial, I think they are great! When I was in school, some of the things the teachers/professors were teaching made no sense to me. That's why I would find online tutorial sites to help clarify some of the things I was confused about.
  10. I use the "online" dictionary to look up words I don't know. If you have a smartphone there is no need to carry around a dictionary with you anymore because you can look it up in your phone.
