  1. Yeah it's with Jean Dujardin, the french guy that was in the artist and also he had a small part in the wolf of wallstreet. He plays a secret agent in it. It's a really great film and they actually made 2 of them, check them out !
  2. Yeah I don't really like the newer french song. Something was lost along the way i think. You could look into anything by Jean jacques goldman as well, the man is a genius.
  3. For my it's after visiting a country and finding it fascinating, then I just want to know more about it's culture and learning it's language is just a part of that. Right now I've been thinking about learning korea since I had a blast when I went over there with my friends. It is really a fascinating country.
  4. When I first started using the internet prettty much everything was in english so I had to figure it out, there was no choice. I think that is a testatment to what can be done when you have to adapt as I think I'm doing pretty well now :). I would do it for my next language, just need to figure out which one now...
  5. I'm french and most people when they speak french with an accent it actually sound really nice so I haven't have any experience with it. As for myself when I speak english I do sound very french but people are okay with that :). We mostly make fun of the different accents of french people aha.
  6. I'm french and I approve of this message :). I would say that french people are mostly the same people you will find in any european country, with maybe slightly more baguettes and cigarettes but other than that we're pretty common people. Alright we might be slightly more rude.
  7. Alright I will list a few of them that I love. Le retour de Martin guerre La cage aux folles L'aile ou la cuisse OSS 117 These are comedies except for the first one and might not be what you are looking for but I can assure you that they are good. Oh one more: La vérité si je mens.
  8. I'm gonna be honest, most of these french versions of differents of words are not used in the general language. Everybody just use the english version of these words. Now from what I've heard, canadians are the one that love having french versions of different word and actually when you hear them speak it can sound quit weird to a nattive french speaker :).
  9. A lot of students go there as au père to get better at the language. Other than that, wherever you live you should be able to find a french meeting of some kind on places like meet up or even on facebook groups if you type français + the name of the city where you live.
  10. I can give you a few songs that are classic rock if you would like :). Matmata - l'apologie Telephone - Un autre monde Noir desir - l'homme pressé. These are some of my all time favorite french songs. Not the most recent ones but still really beloved.
