  1. Hola a todos! I just wanted a share a new podcast a friend of mine and I have created to help intermediate to advanced Spanish learners practice their listening skills (we're both spanish teachers on italki). Each episode is a conversation about a certain topic and lasts about 20 minutes. This is real Mexican Spanish at a normal native speaker speed so you can actually hear how natives speak in a casual conversation. Check it out here: https://itunes.apple.com/mx/podcast/no-hay-tos/id1360162037?mt=2 https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/espanol-real RSS Feed: https://feeds.buzzsprout.com/162248.rss Btw, any feedback is always welcome. Que tengan un buen día! You can also check out our new website for more resources about the language and Mexican culture: www.nohaytospodcast.com

  6. Greetings: I live in Mexico. Previously I taught English in China for several years and it was necessary to learn their language to adjust my teaching style to their needs. Now, living in Mexico I can see very clearly some of the problems facing Latino students who desire to learn English. I just finished converting my Chinese phonetics program to Spanish to aid hispanohablantes. There are less sounds in Spanish than the target language English, therefore native Spanish Speakers need to be taught these sounds which, from their point of view, are unknown to them...not within their experience. The URL is here. http://www.elaanslist.com/display/fluency.php . It is not an app, but instead it is a screen cast used for self-learning. It requires personal dedication and verbal discipline to complete. It is to be used with your current English lessons.
  7. Dear all I have been studying languages for a long time. I listen to a lot of Radio to improve my French, Cantonese and Mandarin listening skills. Because of that I created an Android App to listen to different languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, English, French, German). Maybe it can help your language learning as well: Free version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.language.radio.stream Full version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.language.radio.full I found that this mix of studying words and listening to everyday content on radio speeds up my learning. rgds Oliver
