web site for learning japanese from beginning

Hi, i cant remember the site where i started learning japanese which was very good. You would start by learning letters from their alphabets and then words and phrases, all step by step. The site had a blue background and an owl as a symbođ if i remember correctly. You would sign in and it remembered your progress and gave you points for doing excersises. Can anyone else remember such a site? I dont want to start learning japanese by learning phrases and words id like it to start by letters, symbols  thanks in advance
