I have always had english as a first language though im a person that speaks multiple languages and i wanted to find out if there are people out there not like me who have had to learn english after they  had already mastered another language.

English was my second language, and it came quite easy and naturally to me, seeing as I was surrounded by it almost as much as my native language - in my early years, apart from person to person interaction, I consumed media mostly in English via musica and image. I also had some relatives in Canada, so I occasionally got to speak English with them at a very early stage.

German is my native language, English was my secondary language. Here in Germany there are Kindergarten that offer to raise a child bilingual, but as far as I know such bilingual Kindergarten are very expensive and are too stressful for the children in my opinion anyway. English becomes a mandatory subject in the first or second grade in primary school, you could say we have no choice but to learn it.
