athena02 Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 Just realized that I forgot to introduce myself, so here goes.My name is Helen, and I am originally from Australia. Fluent in both English, French and Mauritian Creole, I moved to Mauritius a couple of years ago, and am currently following a Journalism course there.Looking forward to interacting with other Linguaholic members, and hopefully find the motivation to learn a fourth language. NATASHA Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 Hello and welcome! Mauritius is beautiful, why not learn French there? Is that the language that they speak there and if not what is their common language? Quote
AureliaeLacrimae Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Greetings to you too!I must admit I was drawn to this post by its title. It's very original. I must admit, though, I wonder - why Paradise Island? What is it like there? Any ideas which language you're going to choose to learn next? Have you decided already or not yet? Quote
