cheers100
Hello, Could you please tell me the difference between zu and nach in the following sentences? Wohmit fährt Hans zum Kaufhaus? Wohmit fahren Sie nach Hause? Is "nach Hause" a set phrase? And the rest, generally should I use zu? Vielen Dank!

Generally 'zu' is used together with people and 'nach' is used with places (often of more general nature) when the places has NO article. However, there are also some exceptions. Often you can also use 'in' in connection with directions. You could say something like: 'Ich gehe ins Kino' Ich gehe ins Schwimmbad' cheers100
