      Hello,

Er hat heute Geburtstag. - Is that native speakers would say?

I feel unconfortable to put "heute" in the middle of the sentence. Do you think I can move it to the end of the sentence- Er hat Geburtstag heute?

      Thank you very much!

PS. I am not sure it is about grammar. Sorry if I post in the wrong forum.

The sentence is completely ok like this. In fact ' Er hat Geburstag heute' would be grammatically correct as well, however the focus would be more on Geburtstag than 'heute' . So in the first sentence the focus is moren on the day and in the second one more on the event.
