  1. Que si tienes toda la razon, es lo mismo que decir Portugués de Portugal o de Brasil, son muy diferentes. En España en Andalucia lo español es casi igual al portugués, no existen muchas diferencias, ya el Catalán es una lengua casi diferente... Existe la posibilidad de me ir a Sevilla, pero no es certo aun.

I am Portuguese and I know what you mean, this might have happened a year ago right, it was approved before we even noticed and all of a sudden our silent consonants have disappeared and other changes in quite a few words. Some people still use the "old" way of writing and I am slowly adjusting to the new one. It's not a big deal for me, but at the same time I don't understand what was the goal of this change.
  3. I think music and other audio supports are important when studying a language because we can pick up the sonority of the language. If you are lucky enough to have mp3 songs or podcasts in the languages you're learning that is great, televison shows and movies in that language, especially movies with subtitles, are excellent! Not that you can learn the language only through that, but it's a good help.
  4. Que quieres decir con variedades SirTenenbaum? Yo estoy en Portugal y la posibilidad que tengo es de me ir a España por eso estoy aprendiendo lo español de alli, me imagino que el de Mexico sea algo diferente como el portugués de Portugal e Brasil.
  5. También eres de Portugal Caparica, onde estas tu? Yo aún no sé se quiero vivir en España pero existe esa posibilidade y es por eso que estoy afinando mi español, para que a concretizarse yo me consiga entender bien con los españoles.
  6. Hey everyone, I am glad I have found this forum because I have been studying Spanish for some time and I am really needing to put my knowledge into practice. I hope I find members here at linguaholic that want to practice Spanish as well, or at least I will improve my English and check what is going on in the world of the languages. It seems a great forum!
