  1. English is a major part of our curriculum from pre-school to college. English is our second language and most people here know how to speak English even before they went to school because they were taught by there parents or siblings. I know some people who don't know how to speak English but they try to learn it and it makes me smile because I can see their eagerness and how determined they are to learn it.
  2. My favorite quote: "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." - Albert Schweitzer I love this saying because I truly believe that if you love what you're doing then you will be successful. We should do something we are passionate about. Happiness should be our main priority and not money.
  3. I usually text with proper full words and grammar and I don't write '2' instead of 'to' or '4' instead of 'for' but I have to admit that I use shortcuts sometimes when I'm in a hurry like 'idk', 'ikr', 'lol' 'ttyl', etc. but I don't use numbers though. I also use shortcuts when I'm joking. I hate it when people write 'K' like how hard is it for them to write 'Okay' or simply 'Ok'? But if they are pissed then I can try to accept that. We all have different ways but we should just accept that everyone is different.
  4. I like to talk or write to my friends properly because I don't want to be misunderstood and I think they also want that. But we don't use complicated words just to sound smart. We simply use simple words so we can understand each other easily. I tend to correct myself most of the time but sometimes I just don't care as long as the recipient understood my message.
  5. I care about what other people think about the way I talk but not to the point where I change myself completely. Other people's opinions are important to me but if I'm not comfortable with it, I don't go out of my way just to please them. I mispronounce words and sometimes I even feel like I have my own accent but I just play it off. But of course, I always try to be better.
