  1. I'm extremely dedicated and passionate when learning a new language I always dedicate as much time as needed, in my case I don't need to dedicate much of my time since I'm a fast learner and have loved learning languages my whole life; I've dedicated myself to teaching for more than ten years now and always encourage my students to give their best and to dedicate a lot of time if they have trouble understanding something, also to never give up and ask for help should they need it. Not everyone can learn languages at the same speed, that's why all of us will need more or less time depending on our skills.
  2. I think it's a good idea if we all had one single language to communicate among each other, it would definitely make things much easier and we wouldn't feel as afraid when talking to other people that speak a different language since we all would speak the same one. With that aside, I don't think it will ever be possible since there are so many different cultures so many people around the world with so many different backgrounds that speaking a same language throughout the world would make them lose their identity, they wouldn't be who they are now. So we all should learn as many languages as possible so we can all communicate very well and we can reach as many people as we want.
  3. Yes, I can say that I've taken language learning seriously, since I was in elementary the first language that I was taught was English. I'm a native Spanish speaker and in my country many people don't take language learning seriously and most of them don't actually care about learning other language, some people are interested in learning English of course because that's the universal language, but I think learning other languages is always good because it helps you understand other people that you were not able to connect to before.
  4. For me the most important part is being able to understand, at first I may not understand that much what people are saying or what is written but as time progresses and I'm able to understand then that's when I come to realize how important and useful learning a language can be. Of course there are many other important things that help you get to the main goal which is understanding the language, these things include vocabulary and grammar structures. Verbs also play a key role in any language and they are the backbone since they are the word that makes a sentence what it is.
  5. I haven't tried any language game. I think most of these games are aimed at younger people, kids to be more specific, that's not to say that an adult can't learn with these games but they're designed for kids; these games are fun for them and some of them do actually help them learn languages in a more natural and fun way. For adults there are language apps, which are not games but learning apps; I can highly recommend memrise and duolingo since both of these apps are really well mantained and have tremendous support from developers and community alike.
