  1. Hello. I have created a free online course on how to score a full mark in the writing section of standardized English tests. Please check it out. I hope it's helpful for everyone. Please also feel free to leave any reviews. Thank you.
  2. Hello, everybody. I'm sorry if this forum is not for music, but I've been searching for those lyrics everywhere and never found them. I tried to write them by ear but cannot understand almost anything. Maybe a native speaker or a more fluent person than me can help me with this song and write down the lyrics ¿? (The Grave Shall Be Forever by the band Paralysed Age). A translation into another language is not necessary (I understand written English, plus I just want to sing it and make my own version). Thanks a lot! (
  3. I recently discovered a great blog post on English words coined by William Shakespeare which we still use today. It's quite fascinating just how many words were penned by the playwright. This particular post discusses the origins of the word obsequiously.
  4. Hi guys! English is not my first language but I have been exposed to it since I was a child because our country is also an English speaking country. I just want to share an advice given to me by my English Language tutor before, he told me that in order for me to practice my skills in the language I should keep watching films and shows which utilize the English language. They will not only enhance my vocabulary and pronunciation, but they will also enhance my listening skills in English. I have proven it to be effective when I finally took the International English Language Testing System. As they say, practice makes perfect so I really put my heart into practicing the English Language including having to give up watching my favorite local shows so I could concentrate on my English practice. How do you see watching shows and films which are purely English based as a way of helping improve one's skills in the English language? Do you see it being a helpful tool or not?
