arabicwithhamid
Hi everyone - I want to learn Italian or Spanish. I love both languages but can not decide which to choose first? I am not intending to visit any country speaking either language in the near future. This is just a choice. Any preferences or reflections? Thanks a lot
Wanda Kaishin
You say "this is just a choice" without telling us why you want to learn it. Unless we know, it will be pretty hard to advise. If there really is no preference, maybe choose the easiest one for you, which would probably be the one you've had most exposure to.
Serrrgio
Italian is much more beautiful (of course is my opinion), but Spanish is much more useful (500 millions of speakers)... ¿Which are your motivations?
JustLearnIt
Choose the one you like best, but there's one important thing: don't try to learn them immediately one after another. Get the first one to a decent level - B2 or C1 - take a break for a few months, and only then start learning the other. Otherwise they will merge, and it will be a job separating them. It could even be beneficial to learn something entirely different in between. linguaholic
