It's not my language so it's only natural I don't understand it just like many other people don't understand my language. There is slight awkwardness but never to the point of being embarrassed. Peninha Posted February 4, 2014 Report Share Posted February 4, 2014 Not embarrassed no, but once I was trying to speak French when some tourists came to me and nothing came out of my mouth lol, I guess I was too rusty from many years not speaking it, that is the way to lose a language. linguaholic Posted February 4, 2014 Report Share Posted February 4, 2014 When I was younger I was sometimes having a hang over after going out and then the next day, I just really had a hard time speaking (especially in a foreign language).
