  1. I find myself to work well in both groups and online. Groups give me support and help trigger ideas when I get stuck. Learning alone online allows me to move at my own paste.
  2. I experienced a relationship similar but also very different. I can speak and understand english but a friend I met communicates through sign language because she is mute. We found unique ways to communicate. Written notes, hand gestures and music. We maintain a relationship with our unique communicating style. We also went to a party together. I never understood the disability until I met her. They are just like you and me.
  3. I am from New York. I didn't think we had accents. Traveling to the south, I felt that they were the ones with the accents. They felt that I was the one with the accent. This was so funny
  4. 20 languages? That is amazing. Hell, I had a problem learning one. I am sure he has no problem getting a job.
  5. Spanish is useful in many areas of my life. Between dealing with hispanic people at work and where I live, I need to understand and be able to communicate.
  6. I am a mixed nationality. My fathers side is Puerto Rican. English was the main language in my household but whenever I went to my dads side they spoke spanish. Eventually I began to naturally understand it and speak it. Thats how I was introduced to spanish.
  7. Spanish is one of the sexiest languages to me. I agree with it being the easiest to learn too. Some of the words are close to english words.
  8. My brother tries to teach me all the time. I have confidence in asking people who are more fluent. I am sure they will give me more accurate information compared to google translate.
  9. I do not see a purpose fpr google translate if it is incorrect. They should not provide people with the wrong information.
  10. To me, your sentence structure seems correct. However, I will take the information from the other postings into consideration. There's always room to learn.

  12. Because of being out of school for so long, I often made this same mistake.
  13. We know that there are many spoken languages. Some languages are more attractive than others. I find Spanish to carry a sexy-like sound. What language do you find to be attractive?

  17. Hey Guys! I'm glad to be here. I'm even happier knowing I will be able to meet new people who share the same interest as I do. My strength is in the English Language at this time. I'm currently attending classes to help me improve my Spanish. I'm going on a trip to Puerto Rico and want to be able to understand and translate the language. After graduation, knowing two languages will help me get a better starting salary.
