Ohh I really love your reason to learn Italian, and I think you should talk Italian with him too so you can learn it quickly ! For me, I have a different reason, I'm a fan of AC. Roma, the Italian football club, and I always use google translate to translate their news, I tried to listen to their songs but I couldn't, and since I'm planning to visit Rome the next year, so at least I need to learn basics so I can deal with the Italians

Well I'll tell you what I think, English & French have some similar words, actually a lot of words, but there is a big difference between them actually, the most hard thing in French is "la Conjugaison", which is about time tenses like present and future, there is a lot of time tenses in French language, and the hardest thing is where to use it, English is much easier. Hi, I didn't watch a lot of french movies, because I don't think that they make good films lol the only movie I watched and liked is "La vie d'adele" it's a movie about a normal girl that became lesbian, it's not too good but I think it's one of the best french movies .

Bonsoir, je suis un homme mais des fois je me trouve obligé de cuisinier surtout quand je suis seul a la maison, mais généralement je ne cuisine que les frittes et les omlettes, c'est tres facile a faire et au meme temp c'est rapid ! I'm a native arabic speaker, and I've learnt French in really young age !! And after I've learnt English later, now I'm trying to learn italian as you and i'm facing a lot of problems , because I have a weak memory now and what I've learnt is numbers lol. i hiope that I can learn it this year so I can learn spanish or dutch later .

I really agree about what you said, personally i start learning frech when I was 9 years old ( I'm an Arabic native speaker), then once I became 12 years old I started learning English, and as I was young I learnt those languages quickly and without any difficulties ! And it really stick in my head !! Now I'm 22 years old, and I been trying to learnt Italian, but I'm facing alot of difficulties, I can't remember things easily, since my hed is full of things !! So for me the best age to learn a none native languages is between 9 and 17 years old.

Hi Bloomsie, I'm not from France, but I speak french for more than 12 years, and I can say that we don't say "code à barres" in french, but the correct expression is "Code barre", it's the same spelling but it only wrote differently.
