I'm not familiar with ancient languages as such but I would like to take one in the Chinese/Japanese line. I fancy the way they speak in those very old movies and it would be thrilling to embark on it.

It is always best to know the culture behind a language; it helps one appreciate the language more. I understand what it feels like to speak a language someone has known all their life, caution is always used when communicating. But I guess that is just the beginning, you will improve with time.

I think the accent comes with the language sometimes; not always deliberate but others prefer to fake it to get into the language.
