      1. ...you can put it into Linguee and the program will display excerpts from real-life translations where these phrases were already translated by professionals. 3. Linguee is great. And it has been around for a few years now already. Do you know deepl.com? It is another service from the people of linguee .com and it is absolutely awesome as well (so much better than google translate).
      4. ... linguee .de (state-of-the-art dictionary/translation tool, highly recommended!) http://www.dict.cc (German-English, English-German & many more ) http://dwb.uni-trier.de/de/ (digital version of the famous dictionary of the Grimm brothers...very interesting, unidirectional (Thesaurus, lots of etymologi...
      5. ...DeepL apparently has been invented by people of linguee .com (another amazing resource). And linguee .com has been a major platform for translators for a long time already. But yes, more language options is definitely an important factor and DeepL will need to work on that. Let's see where it g...
      6. ...so I have been relying on Linguee quite a lot. For each word or phrase you can get a long list of real-world usages pulled from the Web. It covers many languages, though I can only vouch for the French content as I haven't used it for any other languages so far.
      7. I have found Linguee very useful because it returns at least a dozen of possible translations to a phrase, but from professionally, human translated sources (mainly) what means you can always find accurate, or close to accurate results when it comes to translate an existing phrase, or none at all wh...
      8. Linguee is great, indeed. Have a look here for some more info about it: http://linguaholic.com/search/?type=all&q= linguee
      9. ...but there is Linguee , which is sort of a translator and dictionary combined. It can translate words, but also bring up examples of documents in which a word or phrase is found, and the document's translation. I am not doing a good job of explaining the site, but I do recommend it! I use Linguee a l...
      10. ...Translating chunks and individual words in Context Reverso and Linguee (it's amazing resource, 100% agree) works much better for me. With a context, I can at least be sure in translation and usage.
      11. Linguee is great, I have been using it for years. However, they recently updated their arsenal of available 'language pairs' and I must say that I am not impressed about the Chinese-English, English-Chinese versions. It seems to contain quite a lot of 'errors' and often the wrong part(s) of the word...
      12. ...A bonus resource I would recommend is usting Linguee , http://www. linguee .com This is a one-of-a-kind online translator because you can introduce a word, term or phrase to get serveral examples on how your idea could be expressed in Spanish. This way you can realize the different contexts of a...
      13. ...Someone mentioned " linguee .com". I use this site quite a bit and it eliminates, pretty much, all issues outlined above. It is good. Buena suerte...!
      14. ... linguee .com/ for translation help. The beauty of the site resides in the fact that you can look up entire sentences that closely match the phrase you're seeking to translate. Additionally, it offers you the source of where the translation was initially provided.
      15. ... linguee is THE BEST! I've had to do a lot of translation lately (work reasons), and I have no idea how I would have coped without it. Of course, you still need to know the language to be able to distinguish good variants from bad ones (and some plain wrong). However, it's been a huge help for me. I...

      17. ...reads like this: while in some way is similar to Linguee , this engine only focus in the input term you are looking for, without providing further examples of sites using that term or the closest translation. Even though, this is an alternative tool to find human translations. Link...
      18. I've never heard of Linguee before. I'm going to have to check it out, especially with all of the comments raving about idioms. That is by far the hardest part of a language for me, since I can't always recognize them.
      19. ...Spanish or else is linguee .com, which can return the translation for a phrase you are familiar with in your own language, but in the different possible ways it is found on real online examples.

      22. ...The only online dictionary that comes to my mind that can actually (sometimes) translate this kind of phrase (idioms/metaphors/metonyms) is linguee .com because it actually provides translations for whole phrases (and always shows you the results in the actual context). The context I am talking abou...
