  1. What is Lingodeer? Many of you might be familiar with the app called "Duolingo." Lingodeer is very similar, but alongside the same style of gamified lessons that Duolingo provides: Lingodeer offers professionally made grammar notes on every single skill, features full native audio recordings on every word and sentence, has built in grammar review features, has a global leaderboard (And friends leaderboard) for competition, features video stories at the end of every skill, has built in pronunciation practice (Sentence shadowing capabilities), and features 10 languages to learn (with Italian on the way) taught in 13 languages. The app is available on iOS and Android. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask me (I run their online forums as volunteer work and have followed the app since it was released, I have also completed the first half of Japanese and Korean on the app).
  2. Hello everyone! I'm Loïc, native French speaker. I would like to improve my Spanish and Vietnamese (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp), either an exchange language or just talking to someone. Feel free to text if interested. See you!
  3. I am curious. Are there other fellow VIetnamese learners. How do you learn and why do you learn Vietnamese? Cheers
  4. Hi there! In my previous post I introduced "Everyday Spanish! ", my blog about Spanish language and culture. This time I would like to introduce my other blog. It is called "Viviendo en Vietnam" or Living in Vietnam, in English. This blog is not just about my stay in Vietnam, but it also contains posts about language, culture, the way of thinking and living of its people, and the delicious food! And you can also use it to learn some Spanish, why not? I write weekly for this blog. Currently I am writing it in Spanish, and it is about some experiences that I have been having during my stay in Vietnam, and also some useful and "on-the-ground" information that may be useful for people who would like to come to Vietnam some day in the future. The website is http://viviendoenvietnam.blogspot.com . Again, most welcome to visit it! Thank you for reading and hope you have a great day ahead! See you soon!
  5. I'm not sure if this is allowed. I am working with a freelance company (OneSpace) to identify freelance workers to assist with a project. We need people to transcribe audio files (no translation needed). There are multiple roles for each language needed. The project begins on 2/1 and is flexible work. You would work from home. All you need is a PayPal email address to be paid as your work is completed. To be considered, I can send you a 1-minute audio file to be transcribed. We are open to considering people without previous transcription experience as long as they have the necessary language skills. Thank you! Emily
  6. Hi there! My name is Oscar and I come from a little island in Spain, called Menorca. I have been learning Vietnamese for more than 5 years and I like it very much, as well as the country. Besides that, this year I began to study French because it is quite similar to Catalan in many aspects. Though it obviously also has many unique French words. Moreover, I have been teaching Spanish, Catalan and English for more than 5 years. Finally, I enjoy teaching and learning new languages, writing some posts in my blogs, and travelling. See you around!
  7. Hi everyone! I'm a native English speaker with a little experience in French from high school. I'm currently trying to learn Vietnamese, but my biggest hurdle is that I tend to be lazy. Looking forward to meeting people on here and hopefully learning more about good ways to learn a language! I'm always open to help out new English speakers and chat.
