linguaholic Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 Could you please be a little bit more specific about your question? Thank you! Quote
mikka254 Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 I agree with the admin. To be able to answer your question, you need to be a bit more specific with your query. Quote
jubvman Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 I agree that you need to be a little more specific. However, if you mean resources I would definitely recommend Duolingo. One of my favourite platforms for learning German Quote
angelicagapit Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 One technique you could do is to try watching German films with English subtitles. You could learn how they pronounce words, how they emphasize syllables and you can learn a few words with the help of the English subtitles. A plus is that foreign indie films are always very interesting. I suggest watching a film called Goodbye Lenin. It's a great German film. Quote
sidney Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 Aside from the subtitles suggestion, you can also listen to German songs and then google the translation. I noticed that the meaning sticks more to your memory because your keep playing the song and it remains in your head. Quote

It's so easy to remember lyrics to a song so I think I'll try this out  Quote
jfab Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 I think one way to learn this is to think that it is almost like learning English. It is the origin of English anyway. Practice everyday with a friend too. Quote
