  5. I think you focused the hardest parts for me. The most difficult is no doubt speaking fluently, I think it's much harder than writing or reading (reading for me is the easiest part). But as thekernel said you need to have great motivation and discipline to learn a language or else you will not make it.

  16. For me it was English no doubt because I learned it as a kid and I don't even recall having a hard time. I have studied it for possibly 10 years and that is a long time. With the help of all the TV shows in English and the internet I think it makes a complete learning. Not that my English is perfect or near from it of course... :frozen:
  17. @sfimirat, I have googled it and couldn't find it. I have studied quite a few languages and one of the first things I did was printing stickers and try every key of the keyboard to see where I put each character...

  22. Nur in English brauchen wir Grossbuchstaben mit "I" und Lander.
  23. Most movies here in Portugal are in English and that helps a lot to acquire new vocabulary and to work on the accent. Sometimes I also watch the German channels do that I can practice a little and don't forget the language.
  24. I see your point, we also have a lot of Brazilian TV contents and that helps. On the other hand, I also have a hard time understanding Portuguese from Madeira and Açores sometimes... :nerd:
