Learning Deutsche from Australia

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Just a quick hello from Australia! I've been loosely studying German for a few years. I cycled through the northern half of Germany for about 3 months a few years ago and fell in love with the country, food, people and language. I was able to have an extremely basic conversation with the locals but this was pretty limited. I'm excited to be learning more and my ambition is to return to Germany within the next 2 years and be able to have a middle level of conversation.

Cheers, John

The language is called "Deutsch".
"Deutsche" is an adjective, like "Deutsches bier" (German beer).

Well then you need to say 'Deutsches Bier' too, please :)

Do you think I should open that Conlang Forum? I got time now:=)
