Truth or Dare is the classic party game: on your turn you choose truth and answer a question honestly, or dare and complete a challenge. It works for sleepovers, birthday parties, family nights, road trips, and even video calls.

How do you play Truth or Dare?: Players take turns. On your turn, choose truth — and answer a question honestly — or dare — and do a challenge. Then it is the next player's turn. On this page, add player names to take turns (in order or picked at random), tap Truth, Dare, or Random, and tap Next when you're done.
How many truths and dares are there?: More than 1,000 original truths and dares — 566 truth questions and 437 dares — in 13 categories: funny, friends, kids, teens, family, party for adults, sweet ones for couples, deep, over text or online, sleepover, crush, juicy but clean, and office team building. Switch categories on or off to fit your group.
Are the dares safe and family-friendly?: Yes. Every truth and dare is clean, and every dare can be done safely at home — no dangerous stunts, nothing involving strangers, and nothing that means eating something that isn't food. Players can always skip a card and get another one.
Can we play Truth or Dare over text or video call?: Yes. Turn on the Over text / online category for truths and dares that work in a chat or on a video call, like sending a voice message, a photo of what's in front of you, or replying only in emojis.
What if someone doesn't want to answer or do a dare?: Tap Skip to get another card of the same kind. Many groups agree on a small, fun forfeit for skips — like doing ten jumping jacks — but nobody should ever be pressured into something they're not comfortable with.
