Tom Lazare Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 So, I really want to learn Norwegian. I visited Norway in December and really became interested in it. I do plan on living in Norway one day. My problem is that I live in a tiny, tiny place in Wales and there's no one here that could teach me the language. What's my best solution to learning the language? Should I just self-teach myself? Quote
Mameha Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 In this case you can do these things: Move to a bigger place/city where there may be norwegian teachers, or if you don't have this possibility you should try to find some teachers online through skype or other programs like this..:) You can maybe start to learn the language by yourself but if you want to learn it seriously you should meet a teacher Quote
Shounenbat Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Try iTalki and Lang-8. They're excellent ways of finding teachers and practicing your target language. If you really want to do things hard-core, there's also Khatzumoto's way language learning. This site is specifically for Japanese (and I think Chinese now), but you can apply the method to any language, really. http://www.alljapaneseallthetime.com/blog/all-japanese-all-the-time-ajatt-how-to-learn-japanese-on-your-own-having-fun-and-to-fluency Quote
