  1. What do you mean by "visually"? Reading and writing or even something like watching movies (which is good for associate words with situations)?

  13. We have that too, it's called Diktat here. But I meant more real special competitions and not just such for kids.
  14. In the US there are these spelling competitions for kids quite a common thing and we all know of school competitions. But is there anything else like that you know of?
  15. We will never know. There are the known languages of today, the unknown languages of today, the known languages that are dead now and the unknown languages that are dead now.

  19. Yes, somehow. I also noticed that I will have thoughts in English when I've been writing a lot in English language lately. But I can't remember to have learned a language this way. If I don't know a language but had real much to do with it it is more like building parts of sentences.
  20. Well, no. I guess. I just know one word in Portuguese and I don't think I should write it here.
  21. Will. Ability. Act. I can follow the thought that led to your top 3 but without being able to learn no motivation passion uses anything. And in the end you just gotta do something.
  22. The teacher for math and biology. He seemed to be very old-fashioned, hadn't really much humor and was not really popular. Later I found out that he is quite a nice guy though and I have to admit that I learned a lot from him.
  23. Do you know any besides Scrabble that are worth to play?
