A Fun Way to Recognize Your Grammar Mistakes
shamzblueworld replied to Nyandroid's topic in Language Teaching
Gladly I've overcome such silly mistakes long ago, now I don't think I ever make mistakes mentioned in that infographic. -
I'd also like to add that it is a problem very common in our part of the world, India, Pakistan especially, we are so much into English that we have pretty much lost the grounds of our national languages, more in script than speaking as of yet, and the issue is more in youth which is quite concerning actually.

I think it could help if you already know some basics about the language and vocabulary, I don't think it can help to any novice, as you got to know and have some understanding of words first.

Your Pick For An Alternate Universal Language
shamzblueworld replied to Baburra's topic in Language Learning
I'd pick Arabic, because this is the only language that has not changed any bit in at least past 1400 years and it is assured to not change in future ever, so this would be the best universal language without a doubt. -
Well at one point in my teens, being an interpreter became my dream job I think it is really very nice, and interesting thing to do everyday.

Where to start when learning a new language?
shamzblueworld replied to Sandman's topic in Language Learning
I think watching videos/movies in the lanuguage you're interested in learning would be a good option to start with, you can also start reading and listening to commentry etc. And if you can find a few people to talk to, that'll be of a huge help. -
Yes it is true, and I have learned the language same way, I just paid listened and paid attention in understanding it and speaking came easily afterwards. So this is a good tip and a recommended way of learning.

When did you start to learn a second language?
shamzblueworld replied to cbintz's topic in Language Learning
I was in 6th grade when I started to learn the ABC at school so that was my first encounter with a foreign language, but it was after High School that I started to learn the language with passion, and here I am now with a decent comprehension over English language. -
