  1. I have been embarrassed about many things in my life, but I don't think not speaking a foreign language has been one. I mean how can you be embarrassed because you can't speak a language? There are tons of people in the world who can't speak a language as well as the next man.
  2. A great synonym for to be drunk is wasted. Wasted is used by a lot of people, when they are talking about someone being drunk. Their are also words such as buzzed.
  3. I like to learn English because it is my native language. I strive to learn as much about my heritage as possible. English just so happens to be a part of that heritage.
  4. There are actually times when I have used "lol" two times before the sentence is even over. I mean I am a person who has a lot of humor, so most of my conversations are joyful. I hate saying something that would sound straight forward without "lol".
  5. Yes I think it would be effective if you learned about the curse words of English. I mean if you want to thoroughly study English you have to know about all of its words and terms. Its not like you will be using any of the curse words you learn anyway.
  6. Yes I consider sign language a form of language. Although in some cases I consider sign language a variety of language. I mean people who learn sign language have to learn sign language to speak, to those who know how to communicate in sign language.
  7. I think the English word I say the most is "what". I think I actually use "what" a couple times a day. I think I could not go a day without saying "what"
  8. I hate relearning a language. Every year I learn Spanish and every year I take a break from Spanish. So everytime I try to learn Spanish again, I am always rustier than I was before.
  9. The thing I like best about language videos is, the entertainment. I love watching a language video that is entertaining to me. It not only makes learning easier, but it keeps you attentive.
  10. Yes I have to also try this game. It sounds like it will be interesting and a lot of fun to play with my family members. It is also a great find because it is beneficial to myself.
  11. I enjoy all poetry that has meaning to it. I hate poetry that has no reason to actually be written. I actually enjoy reading poetry when it speaks to the mind.
  12. No I don't care what people think of the way I talk. Growing up I always had a deeper and more pitched voice. Some people would say I talked like my nose was clogged up. I don't care what people think of the way I talk, as long as they can understand me.
  13. I kind of like short texting. It makes conversing with someone much easier. I really don't think of short texting as a negative thing. I don't even mind when people short text me, because I short text people as well.
  14. I want to learn another language because of all the benefits of being bilingual. I know there are so many beneficial benefits to being a bilingual speaker. I also want to learn more about the country's language history I am studying.
  15. There are so many slang words that are used in my country. I mean there are at least 50 slang words that I could think of off the top of my head. I won't type them all out but one is "brah". Which is a way of saying aye you.
  16. I think YouTube is an excellent way to learn how to speak a language. YouTube has so many tutorial videos for just about every language in existence. I recommend YouTube to anyone learning a new language.
  17. In everyone's opinion, what is the hardest part about learning a new language. My most difficult part about learning a new language is actually speaking the language fluently.
  18. I think there are at least a thousand different languages. I think over time there probably was at least 1,000's of languages being used everyday. I don't think we will ever get an approximate number of languages to ever exist.
  19. I think you should start children on foreign languages when they are 6. I think 6 is the age when children really start developing an identity. I wish I learned Spanish back when I was younger.
  20. I totally agree with the idea of leaving your native country behind. When you are learning a new language you have to have discipline, because it will be difficult. Although the more you want to learn that language, the better you will become.
  21. The hardest teacher I ever had was my Spanish teacher. Her class was so tough, and not only was it tough but, she always gave us homework. I would never forget the first quarter of her class I finished with an F. After that I started paying more attention, finally getting good at Spanish.
  22. That is a great question I need to ask my mother later. To be honest I don't know what my first words were as a child. Once I find out I will come back and tell you guys what it was.
  23. I chose French myself because it is the most romantic language in my opinion. If you knew how to speak French, you would have such an easy time with the ladies. One of the many reasons I want to learn French.
  24. Yes I think almost every language out there is different in some way. Although there are languages out there that are similar in some ways. As a ratio though, there are so many different sounding languages out there.
  25. Cool, I love using tips to help me learn to speak a new language. This is a good video that can be used by anyone learning a foreign language. Thank you for posting this video, it is really beneficial.
