      It looks like everyone pretty much covered most languages, but this sounds like an interesting project you have going on. Now I'm racking my brain to figure out how "Lies and Slander!" fit into a birthday present. An inside joke, perhaps?

      Slander can also be called "paninirang-puri", right? So it can also be translated as "kasinungalingan at paninirang-puri".

      Yeah, 'paninirang-puri' sounds better.

      But I have another and here it is.

      Filipino : mga kasinungalingan at paninirang-puri

      Having in mind that the word 'lies' is in plural form.

      Hey!

      I speak Finnish (Finland's native language) and "Lies and Slander" would translate as:

      Lies = Valheita

      and = ja

      slander = panettelua

      "Valheita ja panettelua"

      :)

      Serbian : Laži i kleveta

      Croatian : laži i kleveta

      Bosnian : Laži i kleveta

      Montenegrian : Laži i kleveta

      Macedonian : Lagi i kleveta

      Bulgarian : лъжи и  клевета

      Maltese : Gidba u kalunnja

      Hungarian : Hazugságok es ragalom

      So i consulted with my Maltese and Hungarian friends and they told me this is OK. I would really like to know more about the surprise :) I hope it will be fun.

      Spanish: Mentiras y calumnias.

      Portuguese : Mentiras e calúnias.

      That's all I can do with this little information, I'm not sure if "lies and slander!" is just a regular sentence or is more intended as an expression.

      The words were already translated to Filipino so I might as well translate them to a local dialect I know of which is also one of the many spoken dialects in the Philippines. In the Ilocano dialect, spoken by people mostly from the Northern part of the my country "Lies and Slander" means "Panang-ulbod ken Panang-dadael".

      Lies and Slander

      Filipino > Kasinungalingan at Paninira

      Ilocano (minor Filipino language) > Panagulbud ken Panangpadakes

      Japanese > うそと中傷 (Uso to Chūshō )
