Instead of saying 'Ich bin heute hier neu', you could say something like 'Ich habe mich heute auf linguaholic.com neu registriert'. Then, the next sentence should be something like 'Entschuldigt bitte meine Schreibfehler. Ich liebe die deutsche Sprache, allerdings bin ich noch nicht so gut darin. So in fact you should split up the sentence in two sentences and moreover there are some minor problems with the logical connectors. It does not make sense to use 'weil' there. Weil usually means 'because'. Instead of saying in meiner Schule Deutsch ist mein Lieblingsfach, you can simply say Deutsch ist mein Lieblingsfach (an meiner Schule). And then the last sentence 'Ich hoffe auch für A-Level Deutsch studiert', there are some problems with the tense of the sentence. You should say something like: Ich hoffe, dass ich eines Tages den A-Level in Deutsch erreichen kann. Or you could say something like 'Ich möchte gerne die Niveaustufe A1 in Deutsch erreichen' (literally: I would like to reach the level A1 in German). It's definitely possible, as poftim just pointed out. In China, there are lots of English teachers that have absolutely no clue about the Chinese language. In my opinion, at least for teachers teaching beginners, it is much better if the teacher knows the native language of the students. It doesn't really matter too much for advanced students, though. It can be even an advantage, as the students will just really hear the target language at all times, so they really have to focus to understand things and are not given examples in their native language all the time --> I guess teachers that do know the native language of their students tend to explain too much in the native language of the students, which can maybe in some cases hinder the progress of language learning.

I guess that is true. However, as my native language is German, I tend to put nouns together as we always do that in German :=) ---->lots of noun compounds in German :=)

Well, I do have a similar problem with Chinese. Maybe in Chinese it is because Chinese is in fact a tonal language, however in songs the tones are not really present, so it is much more difficult to guess the meaning, as your only anchor to guess the meaning is the context. Some languages are just more difficult to listen to and of course it always depends on what your native language is. I would agree that French is pretty difficult in this regard (-->my native language is German).

hehe. yea. My post about my game is also not very relevant as far as Language Learning goes. However, I guess it is ok to post a non-relevant topic from time to time. I am at 1600 posts now, and 1585 have been relevant, so that's ok :=) same holds true for blaveloper as well, so no problem :=)

Most of them are correct. However, there are two things I need to point out here. First of all, 'name' needs to be written with a capital N, as it is a noun. So it always needs to be 'Mein Name ist ....'. Moreover, you can't say 'Ich bin Beckmann'. Nobody would say it. All the others are possible and grammatically correct.

Latin Numerals The Latin Numerals are pretty straightforward if you ask me. The system is really easy to learn. When I compare it to some other 'Calculating systems', I really think the Latin one is rather easy. For instance, The Chinese numeral system is quite hard to learn. At least for Europeans... Also the French numeral system is pretty awkward. And they have like two different ways to express the same number. For instance, 90 can be 'quatre-vingt-dix' which equals 80 + 10 but in some places people would just say 'nonante'.
