  1. If ever I will move to a new country, I will make sure that I know how to speak their language, not necessarily fluent but enough for simple communication. I will not stay there specially if it is not an english speaking country. It will be very hard and challenging moving to a new place without proper knowledge of the language.

  3. When I was in high school, I tried learning Spanish, but when my friend stop learning and I have no one to talk to I also stop learning. It is so sad that I should have tried learning harder and did not stop. I never thought that I will need to learn this language now because of my work.
  4. I know some people who can mimick accents of other people. For me it's a talent, not everybody can do it. Personally I'm not good in doing it. Whenever I see someone doing it, I find it really amusing.
  5. I can speak 3 languages. My native language, (tagalog) my second language (english) and the last one is german. I don't know if I can really count german, because I'm still in the process of learning. I'm not that fluent yet.

  7. I don't think German should be offered in high school. I have nothing against german, as a matter of fact I'm learning it. But if you will compare it to other language like spanish. I think more countries are using spanish than German.
  8. Good grammar (not just in english but as well as other languages) is very important. It boost self confidence, help you achieve or land a good job, makes traveling less stressful. Good grammar somehow reflects the personality,educational background and status of a person. In non english speaking countries, most people who can speak good english are those who have a good education or came from a well to do families.

  11. I also want to learn more languages. Learning different languages is very helpful. I want to learn 2 or 3 more in the future. I'm on my third language at the moment. Looking forward for more.
  12. I personally prefer the original language than the dubbing. In watching foreign movies or anime, I don't mind reading the subtitles for me to understand it. It's better than dubbing. I don't know, but for me it seems less attractive if they dubbed it.

  14. It offers many opportunities. It adds changes in my life, like having a job in other country. It is very helpful when I'm travelling. You can understand foreign movies, read books.
  15. I read books written in this language, I also watch movies. I also use it in school and in our house.
  16. I used to learn spanish before, but I gave up. At that time I was still busy with my school. I can't find time to do it. Another reason is I have no one to talk to, I can't even use what I'm learning.
  17. For me I don't like the sound of thai language. It's not that appealing compare to others.

  19. Language barrier can really divide many countries. There are countries who are not open to changes. Learning a new language is not even an option for them. I think if we all have the same language, unity is much easier. We can understand other people easily. Imagine how great it can be if we are talking in one language.

  21. French and italian are the languages that are attractive to me. The sounds are really fascinating. For me, these two stand out form the rest. Even though I don't really understand it, I still love listening, or watching movies in these languages.
  22. Learning new language can be very beneficial. You can communicate with other people using their language. Opportunities are better if you can speak another language. It is an edge to be hired if you are seeking work to other countries. Another advantage is that it adds knowledge and somehow it boost your self confidence.

  24. I think most of the time the common mistakes are with the grammar, pronunciation and spellings. I admit that there are time that I make mistakes even by just speaking my own native language. There are words that I can't even understand.
  25. It can be challenging at times, specially if you are going to pick the best answer out of the correct answers. My college professors always do that kind of exam. but then the chances of knowing the correct answer is higher compare to the fill in the blanks type.
