  2. The best book I've ever read is called "Lock and Key" by Sarah Dessen. It is an Young Adult Contemporary novel about a girl lives in a life that is different from most people. It kinds of relates to my life, which is the reason I like about this book. Sarah Dessen is also my favorite author, whom I read most of her books. "Lock and Key" is also part of a romance novel, which I like to read sometimes.

  6. What do you mean by "Un language"? I don't quite get what you're asking. Please be specific about the subject of the question. I don't find my native language hard to speak because that's what I speak everyday. 7. There are thousands and thousands words in English that I still don't know about. I don't usually go back to the ones I have learned because I cannot keep track of them. However, I do look up the meaning and study the vocabulary words again if I forget, regardless of I have already learned or not. How do you maintain your vocabulary that you've learned? Do you usually re-study them again for those you've already learned?

  13. Yes, I think you should learn the basics and some vocabulary words before you jump into more depth. I would at least build that foundation before I often see people rush to learn the language, which they end up forgot eating about the language. I don't mean you should slow down or anything, but building a good foundation will help you to get through the hard times.
  14. No, learning a new language is not a hobby for me because I usually learn a new language if I think it is important to me and helps me to communicate with others. I think two languages is enough, which I still focus on my native language because I have forgotten a lot of it already. Plus, I don't learn a new language for fun anymore, which I did to my second language though.
  15. I personally don't keep track of how many vocabulary words I have learned and known, which it is hard because some of them that I have already forgotten. I would be when I read a book, I will know how well I have learned in terms of vocabulary words and things like that. I will be happy to be able to communicate with other people, not to mention the numbers of vocabulary words I have learned and known.

  18. I agree. The best way would be to watch movies with subtitles, reading books, and speak the language in which you're learning. Another thing would be that communication is the main key to improve the language.
  19. True, never force someone or expect them to learn them language in which they don't like to learn. It is harder for them to learn it successfully. 22. I usually try to learn as many vocabulary words as possible because that is how I can be able to read the sentences and understand them. I try to spend at least 2 to 3 hours a day reading the language textbook and practice how to pronounce some of the words. Until I am able to communicate with other people, I would read a book and practice in my own time.
  23. I think it happens to almost all people when they learn a new language, which I think having trouble with pronunciation is forgiven in some situations. I believe try to pronounce precisely but not perfectly is just as hard as being able to learn the language in a short period of time.
  24. Yes, I am with you. I don't trust Google Translate that much. What other tradition website do you recommend?
