What is cursed text?
Cursed text is ordinary text warped by stacking layers of Unicode combining marks above and below each letter, giving it a glitchy, corrupted, “possessed” look. It is the same effect people also call zalgo or glitch text.

Choosing an intensity
Light cursed text adds just a few marks for a subtle uneasy feel, while heavy piles them on for a fully corrupted look. Heavier settings can spill onto nearby lines, so light or medium is often better for bios and usernames where space is tight.
Where does cursed text work?
It works anywhere Unicode combining marks are accepted — Discord, Instagram, TikTok, and many games and forums. Some apps cap how many marks they render for safety, so very heavy cursed text may appear lighter in those places. This is normal and not a problem with the copied text.
