How mirror writing works

The tool reverses the character order and maps letters to Unicode characters that look flipped (for example b becomes d, and E becomes Ǝ). The result is the classic “mirror writing” Leonardo da Vinci famously used in his notebooks.

Will it read correctly in a real mirror?

Mostly. Letters with a good flipped counterpart mirror cleanly, while a few symmetric letters (like o and x) look the same either way, and any character with no flipped form in Unicode passes through unchanged. That is a limit of the available characters rather than the tool.
